6 Free Gift Wrapping Ideas

Christmas is right around the corner and shopping is in high gear. Some of us might be spending a little more than we should and might not have money left over for… wrapping paper.

In case this happens to you, I have 6 free gift wrapping ideas for you to use for your Christmas gifts.

Idea #1: You can always use the trusty old newspaper. If done creatively, using pages with certain pictures or messages, it could look pretty cool.

Idea #2: You can use pages from an old telephone book. We get a new book every year and it seems like it just sits there. Again, you can be creative about which pages you decide to use, based on who you’re giving the gift to.

Idea #3: Find some old fabric or old clothes in your closets you won’t wear anymore. This can turn this fabric into a very creative piece of gift wrapping art your friends and family will be impressed with.

Idea #4: Re-use decorative packing paper from a box you received last year. Add a nice bow or ribbon and you’re good to go.

Idea #5: Use old magazines you have lying around the house. This will be fun to do, since you’ll have lots of great colors and pictures to play with.

Idea #6: Use old T-shirts worn by your gift recipient. If you really want to have some fun, secretly get an old T-shirt from the person you are giving a gift to. Then wrap their present in their own shirt…they will definitely get a kick out of this one.
