How To Increase Your Income By 10% This Year

Here’s a great goal I suggest you go after – Increase your income by 10%. Here’s how…

If you bring home $75,000 a year, your new goal should be to make an extra $7,500. I know that might sound like a lot, but if you break it down to a monthly goal, it won’t seem so hard.

So in this case, to increase your income by $7,500 in the next 12 months, you will need to make $625 extra each month. Doesn’t that look more attainable?

Here are five tips to help you get there:

1. Start a small business you can run from your home. There are literally thousands of things you can do right now, right from your home, without much start up capital.

2. Put in a few more hours at work each week. The extra money will add up fast.

3. If you are paid commissions with your job, work harder (or smarter) to boost your sales each week.

4. Start selling stuff. Have a monthly yard sale. Or better yet, make lunch or snack items and sell them at work. Here in Hawaii, people often make a popular and delicious snack called “spam musubis” and sell them to coworkers.

5. If you like sales, there are tremendous opportunities to earn extra cash and even build a new career. You just have to look around, and find an activity that suits you best.
